| Dear MCA Board Members, MCA head umpires Mr. Alston Dutchin and Mr. Kirit Bhakta have scheduled a seminar for Monday, April 20th at the Days Inn in Bloomington. Please keep in mind that this will be the last seminar of the season. If you aren’t certified for 2009, make sure you attend this seminar. Team captains need to ensure that there are at least three certified umpires in your team. A test will be emailed to all participants after the seminar. Senior umpires from 2008 do not need to take the test but will have to attend the seminar to be eligible for 2009. To be better prepared for the season, all senior umpires are encouraged to take the test. Details are as follows: Date: Monday, April 20th 2009 Time: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm Location: Days Inn, Bloomington 7851 Normandale Blvd Bloomington, MN 55435 Phone: (952) 835-7400 Please make sure you are on time and are prepared to discuss umpiring rules at the seminar.
