| 2010 Cricket Season Comes to an End |
Our 2010 season came to an end yesterday with both teams
having a win. MICC advanced to the quarter finals of the T20, however,
they did not advance to the semi finals. Congratulations Mr. Charles
Peterson who on his birthday showed us that experience does count
with three stumping and a massive 6. Charles, I hope that you had a
wonderful birthday.
During this season we had some highs and lows, but always we were
able to find something positive to move forward to the next game. I want
to thank the captains and players for the effort this season. We now
have to move forward to the 2011 season and there are decisions to be
made and stil some fun to be had during this off season.
I am asking each of you to keep reading your emails for updates on
meetings, activities or just gatherings. I am also requesting that you stay
in contact over the winter. The pattern has been unfortunately to stay to
one selves once the season has ended. Let us commit to doing things
differently during this off season. Read emails and respond and show
your support by coming out.
Please ensure that you have your say as to what worked and what
changes need to be made for the 2011 season. Have your say in plans
for our 2011 USA Invitational Tournament. I do not mean on the fringes
comments. I mean come to meetings and come out to gatherings and
bring your ideas. Show your support for this organization.
To the new members of our family - this is your organization and you
need to ensure that you have input and your voice is heard. Thanks for
joining us this year and playing some wonderful cricket.
